This Saturday 22 October Australia’s ‘super mare’ Black Caviar hits the track at Moonee Valley in a bid to clock up her 15th consecutive win - and there’s no better place in Adelaide to watch this wonder horse in action than at Morphettville Racecourse.

Vision Australia is proud to be named as the 2011 Melbourne Cup Community Programme Pin and Win charity partner.
The Melbourne Cup Community Programme supports Australian charities that create long-term health and social welfare programs. This initiative has been the primary charitable activity associated with the Melbourne Cup Carnival for more than 20 years.
As charity partner, Vision Austalia is responsible for coordinating the sales of commemorative Melbourne Cup Pins before and during the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

2011 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND ELECTION
We advise all Members in accordance with the Constitution of the Club of the following:
The Annual General Meeting of the SAJC will be held on Thursday 24th November 2011 at 6.00 p.m. in Leilani Room, Morphettville Racecourse, Morphett Road, Morphettville.
1. Nominations for election for three Board positions close at 4.00 p.m. on Thursday 27th October 2011.
2. Under Rule 26.2 of the Club's Constitution, any Member who wishes to bring any business before the 2011 Annual General Meeting must do so in writing to the Chief Executive Officer before 4.00 p.m. on 27th October 2011.
Members who are considering nominating for the Board position may contact Brenton Wilkinson on 8295 0111 for a nomination form or further information.

Uni Race Day at Morphettville Racecourse

The South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) are hosting the Uni Race Day on Saturday October 8, 2011 at Morphettville Racecourse. University students will gain free entry to the track and enjoy live entertainment by Dino Jag in the Beer Garden, just by showing their student ID card.
Not to be missed, Australian horse of the year Black Caviar will be chasing her 14th consecutive win in a depleted Group Two Schweppes Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield, racing alongside local horses Morgan Dollar and Stirling Grove. See all the action on the big screen at 12.50pm.

Union Race Day at Morphettville

The South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) will be hosting Union Race Day this Monday October 3, 2011 at Morphettville Racecourse. Children will enjoy free face painting and rides on the Derby Lawns, along with an animal nursery, clowns, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.

Mollie celebrates in style

South Australian Jockey Club Member, Mollie Rothe, celebrated her 100th birthday on 6th August 2011 in style. She arrived at Morphettville in a white stretch limousine where she and her family members were met by Chief Executive Officer, Brenton Wilkinson and Chairman David Peacock.
